By accessing or using PaperScane, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not access or use the service. These terms apply to all users, including organisations and their employees accessing the service through a workspace.

2. Description of Service

PaperScane is a management platform developed and operated by AmenityDev SA. The service allows users to upload, classify, organise, and retrieve documents within a structured workspace environment.

3. User Obligations

By using PaperScane you agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information when creating your account.
• Maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials and notify us immediately of any unauthorised access.
• Use the service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Not upload, transmit, or store content that infringes third-party rights or violates any applicable law.

4. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in the PaperScane platform, including software, design, and documentation, belong to AmenityDev SA or its licensors. You retain ownership of all documents and data you upload to the service. You grant us a limited licence to host and process your content solely to provide the service.

5. Prohibited Uses

You may not use PaperScane to: (a) reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code of the application; (b) transmit malicious code or interfere with the platform's integrity; (c) use automated means to access the service without our prior written consent; (d) resell or sublicense access to the service without authorisation.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, AmenityDev SA shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these terms shall not exceed the fees paid by you in the twelve months preceding the claim.

7. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability of the PaperScane service but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We reserve the right to suspend or discontinue the service (or any part of it) at any time for maintenance, security, or operational reasons. We will endeavour to provide advance notice of planned downtime.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms of Use. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting support. Upon termination, your right to use the service will cease immediately, and we will delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

9. Governing Law

These Terms of Use are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Switzerland. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Valais, Switzerland.
